Spanish side Sevilla are said to be working on a deal to bring AC Milan striker Andre Silva this summer.
The Rossoneri forward struggled with life in Italy last season and AC Milan have already removed his shirt No.69 from the club’s online store which is a clear indication he would be changing clubs.
Sevilla were initially linked with a loan move for the 22-year-old but the latest reports have it that the Rojiblancos are prepared to shell out €20 million to buy Silva outright.
Silva joined the Serie A giants in 2017 but has never been able to live up to high expectations. AC Milan brought him from Portugal for a €22 million fee and are willing to accept a €2 million loss in order to part ways with the striker.

Glasgow Rangers are currently pursuing several transfer targets, according to manager Steven Gerrard.
The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) decided to end the 2019/20 season back in May, proclaiming Rangers fierce rivals Celtic as champions for the ninth time in a row. It is quite obvious that Gerrard and his team are looking at all possible ways to end their long-standing supremacy in Scottish football as they prepare for the start of pre-season ahead of 2020/21.
Rangers have already confirmed the departures of six players, including Gerrard s former teammate at Liverpool, fullback Jon Flanagan. They ve replaced him by signing 20-year-old Calvin Bassey from Leicester City on a pre-contract agreement, and they ve triggered the option to sign midfielder Ianis …
Bayern Munich captain Mark van Bommel insisted Saturday s shock defeat at Eintracht Frankfurt is not the end of the world as the German giants lost for the first time in 20 league games.
Bayern s last league defeat was back in September 2009, but after Miroslav Klose s opening goal, Frankfurt teenager Juvhel Tsoumou scored a late equaliser before Eintracht s Martin Fenin hit the winner on 89 minutes to shock Munich.
But while van Bommel anticipates some negative headlines in the German media here, he insisted the Champions League s quarter-finalists are not in crisis, although Schalke 04 can go top if they win at Hamburg on Sunday.
We have lost the first game in the Bundesliga for a long time and I can see the headlines already: Bayern in crisis! , said van Bom…
(GSM) Germany have not won the World Cup in 20 years but the Mannschaft will be looking to end the drought this time around. Australia however, are no easy opponents to open your tournament against.
Ahead of a final tournament, Germany are rarely regarded as top favorites. The same applies this year but the team is known to improve from match to match. This allowed them to reach the final of Euro 2008, although they ended up losing 1-0 to Spain.
The Germans convinced in qualifying, winning eight of their ten games and drawing the remaining two. In the build-up to this tournament, Joachim Löw s men beat Malta, Hungary and Bosnia-Herzegovina in friendlies.
But there was a major set-back as well as star player and regular captain Michael Ballack suffered a serious…
Roberto Donadoni has revealed his ambition to coach a big club in the future and that he recently spoke with AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi.
Donadoni spent 13 years with Milan over two spells as a player winning Serie A six times and the European Cup on three occasions.
He led Parma to a sixth-placed finish in 2013-14, only for the club to be doomed by financial difficulties the following season.
Now in charge of a Bologna side that is five points above the bottom three, Donadoni told Corriere dello Sport: I m ambitious and want to coach a big club one day.
Even to this day it s a special feeling to walk out at the San Siro and receive the affection of the Rossoneri fans. It gives me goosebumps.
I spoke to Berlusconi on the phone a f…
Saul Niguez came off the bench to score his fifth goal of a breakthrough season as La Liga leaders Atletico Madrid were held to a 1-1 draw by neighbours Rayo Vallecano in the first leg of their Copa del Rey last-16 tie.
Rayo have endured considerable suffering in local encounters against the Madrid heavyweights of late condemned to a 10-2 thrashing at Real Madrid before Christmas and suffering a last gasp-2-0 loss to Atletico at the Estadio de Vallecas last week.
Both sides were much changed as they resumed hostilities at the same venue, although Paco Jemez s hosts played like a team with a point to prove and they deservedly led at the break through Nacho s fabulous opener.
Atletico struggled for clear-cut chances until boss Diego Simeone brought on Luciano Vie…
Two sides going through opposite runs of form will collide this Sunday in a thrilling Serie A encounter, as Sampdoria will take on AS Roma. While the hosts are dead last in the standings and in dire need of a win to kickstart their season, the Rome-based side are in fifth place of the standings and they know a win would potentially move them closer to the UEFA Champions League qualification zone. Kick-off for this match is slated at 14:00 hrs BST.
Sampdoria
There s no doubt that Sampdoria have been one of the biggest disappointments of the 2019-20 Serie A season thus far. After flirting with a potential UEFA Europa League berth during most of the 2018-19 season, right now Sampdoria look like one of the biggest candidates to get relegated even though teams have only played seven…
Premier League champions Manchester City have announced record revenues of £500.5million in their 2017-18 annual report.
City made a profit for the fourth consecutive year, with their balance sheet in the black to the tune of £10.4m, while the wage-revenue ratio sits at 52 per cent.
City, whose 2016-17 revenue stood at £473.4m, have become only the second English club to break the £500m barrier after Manchester United in 2016 – a feat their neighbours repeated last year by bringing in £581.2m.
City are now the fifth club in Europe to hit revenues of half a billion pounds, along with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and United, who are due to release their latest figures this month.
On the field, Pep Guardiola s team enjoyed a record-breaking c…
Stefano Pioli believes the outcome of AC Milan’s home clash with Serie A rivals Atalanta could determine the trajectory of the rest of their season with the title not yet out of their reach and a chasing pack turning up the European heat.
The Rossoneri head into Sunday’s match 11 points behind city foes Inter Milan in the Scudetto race while fourth-placed Bologna and Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta are both in excellent form and pushing hard for Champions League football.
Defeat at San Siro and Milan could lose the initiative in that battle, especially considering the fact Atalanta – in fifth – have a game in hand and are riding a five-game winning streak.

City sailed through with surprising ease as Chelsea put up little resistance at the Etihad Stadium just three days after a hard-fought Premier League clash between the sides at Stamford Bridge.
A superb Riyad Mahrez free-kick, a Julian Alvarez penalty and a Phil Foden effort effectively wrapped up the contest in the first half.
Mahrez completed the scoring from the spot late on.
