Brazilian media outlet that former Sevilla star Luis Fabiano has decided to leave Sao Paulo at the end of the year.

The 34-year-old will be out of contract in December and the latest reports suggest he has already found a new club.

According to O Globo, Luis Fabiano has agreed to join Chinese second division side Tianjin Songjiang, coached by his compatriot Vanderlei Luxemburgo.

The move comes as a surprise considering that the veteran forward has been in great scoring form ever since he joined Sao Paulo from Sevilla some four and a half years ago.

Luis Fabiano has since made a total of 139 league appearances and scored impressive 68 goals in the process.

The experienced centre forward also boasts an enviable goalscoring record in the national t…

Sneijder reflects on ´terrific´ Real Madrid memories

Galatasaray star Wesley Sneijder insists he has nothing but good memories of his time at Real Madrid.

The Netherlands international wore the Madrid jersey from 2007 until 2009 before leaving the Santiago Bernabeu side for Inter Milan.

Sneijder will face his former side in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg on Wednesday.

I have a lot of good memories of my time at Madrid. I still have a lot of friends there, and I have terrific memories of the team and the people at the club, Sneijder told Marca.

There is no reason why I would have any bad memories of that stage of my life.

I had a very good season, and we won the league, and I enjoyed my football a lot. And then I had another bad season because of my personal problems.

Valencia want €60million for Moreno

Having scored 19 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for this season, Rodrigo Moreno has sparked plenty of speculation regarding his future. He has, however, said recently he has no plans to move away from the Mestalla.

Nevertheless, Valencia have felt it appropriate to set their asking price for the Brazil-born striker, and , that price is €60million.

Given the season he has had, Moreno is not surprised by the rumours linking him with a move, but his plan at this point is to stay at the club after helping them secure a spot in next season’s Champions League. But before that, there’s the matter of the World Cup in Russia this summer, and Moreno hopes to be selected by Julen Lopetegui to be a part of the squad to represent Spain in the tournament.

Bellerin: Arsenal still have a chance despite Barca loss

Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin bemoaned missed opportunities in the 2-0 Champions League loss at home to Barcelona but insisted the Londoners remain upbeat about their chances of qualifying for the last eight.

Bellerin and Co. came unstuck against Barca in the opening leg of the Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday, with Lionel Messi s second-half brace putting the title holders in the box seat.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud had opportunities to score for Arsenal though neither found the back of the net, leaving the Premier League side with a mountain to climb heading to Camp Nou next month.

Speaking afterwards, Bellerin told reporters: We have had several chances to score first. It is hard against a time like this one and when you do not score…

Wolves 3-2 Manchester City: Traore, Jimenez inspire fightback as Ederson sees red

Manchester City blew a two-goal lead at Wolves as Raul Jimenez and Matt Doherty netted late on at Molineux to secure a thrilling 3-2 home victory, with the 10-man champions hopes of usurping runaway leaders Liverpool taking another huge blow.

City found themselves with an unlikely 2-0 lead just after half-time thanks to a Raheem Sterling brace, the lead remarkable given the 12th-minute dismissal of Ederson, but Wolves fought back spectacularly in the second half – Adama Traore playing a vital role.

Ederson s early sending off left City in a tricky position, though they initially responded well and went ahead through Sterling – the attacker tapping in a penalty rebound after Rui Patricio had saved two of his spot-kicks, the first ultimately being retaken due to encroa…

Pirlo: Ronaldo will make the difference in Champions League

Cristiano Ronaldo s arrival at Juventus can help the Bianconeri end their lengthy wait for Champions League glory, according to legend Andrea Pirlo.

Juve have not been champions of Europe since their 1996 victory over Ajax in Rome, Marcello Lippi s side needing penalties to secure their second crown.

They appeared in the following two finals but were beaten by Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid, before vying for the title again in 2003 – when they lost a shoot-out to AC Milan.

Massimiliano Allegri has revitalised their fortunes in recent campaigns but the Champions League trophy continues to elude them.

Final defeats to Barcelona in 2015 and Madrid in 2017 kept their barren run going, but Pirlo believes the acquisition of Ronaldo, who has won the competi…

´These saves were too spectacular´ – Klopp tells free-scoring Liverpool to ease Alisson workload

Jurgen Klopp questioned Liverpool s focus despite his side powering to a 4-0 win over Southampton, demanding they tighten up in defence.

On the face of it, that may have seemed an unexpected response to a crushing win with a clean sheet, but Klopp was right to point to Liverpool offering up golden chances to their Anfield visitors.

Goalkeeper Alisson saved well from Armando Broja and Adam Armstrong, and Liverpool were arguably flattered by their victory margin as they reached 39 goals from their opening 13 games of the Premier League campaign.

In terms of expected goals, the metric that assesses the quality of a team s chances, Liverpool finished the game with an advantage of 2.67 to Southampton s 1.34. Those numbers indicate Liverpool impressively over-perfor…

´Trent is a super talent´ – Southgate certain Alexander-Arnold will reclaim England place

Trent Alexander-Arnold has not made the cut for England despite being one of the few Liverpool players to deliver high standards during the Reds poor run.

Gareth Southgate named a 26-man squad for this month s upcoming World Cup qualifiers against San Marino, Albania and Poland.

Five full-backs were included in the selection, but Alexander-Arnold, a Champions League and Premier League winner in the past two years, was not among them, casting doubt over his participation in Euro 2020.

Manchester City s Kyle Walker, Chelsea s Reece James and Atletico Madrid s Kieran Trippier were preferred to Alexander-Arnold at right-back, while left-backs Ben Chilwell and Luke Shaw were also selected.

Trippier has just returned from a ban imposed by the Football Associ…

Nketiah ready to replace injured Jesus as Arsenal prepare for Premier League return

Eddie Nketiah is ready to step in for the injured Gabriel Jesus and stake his claim again within the Arsenal frontline.

Former England youth international Nketiah had appeared to be headed for the exit last season before a slew of late-campaign performances secured his Arsenal future.

With the arrival of Jesus from Manchester City, though, Nketiah has found himself down the pecking order as Arsenal have pushed on to top the Premier League.

However, an injury on World Cup duty with Brazil has seen Jesus sidelined following knee surgery, opening the door for his team-mate, who is prepared to seize his chance with both hands.

Of course, it is an opportunity for myself, Nketiah stated. These things happen in football, unfortunately, so you ve just got to be …

Barcelona wary of PSG in Haaland race

According to , Barcelona want to sign Erling Haaland at the end of the season to mend their attacking section, seriously depleted of quality with the departures of Luis Suarez in 2020 and Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann this year. However, they are afraid of Paris Saint-Germain entering the race, fully aware that the Ligue 1 giants have the ability to blow them out of the water financially. PSG haven t made a move yet, but that may change over the coming months.

Agent Mino Raiola spoke recently about the future of the 21-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker, naming a number of top clubs where his client could go, but also refusing to rule out him staying at the Signal Iduna Park a year longer.

Manchester City are also believed to be interested, but while they are one o…
